Therapy for Relationship Concerns in Atlanta, Georgia
As human beings, we are wired to be in relationships. Our very sense of safety and survival is tied to our experience of belonging and connection with others. When we experience conflict or disconnection in our key relationships, it can be devastating.
Many people come to therapy after noticing a dysfunctional pattern in their relationships, such as difficulties communicating, loneliness, betrayal, or conflicts that seem to go in endless circles. You may have tried everything and found that you can’t seem to make meaningful changes in your relationship with a friend, partner, parent, boss, or coworker.
In my work with clients on relational problems, I aim to help them understand the ins and outs of their relationship patterns, the internal and external factors contributing to feeling stuck, and the steps towards changing their role in their relationships. This work includes education on elements of healthy relationships, addressing past relationship wounds that are impacting the present, and developing interpersonal skills to reach relational goals, such as boundaries and communication strategies.
